Chitwan : The five-day Chitwan Auto Show 2026 has concluded successfully, recording in business transactions exceeding Rs 1 billion along with strong public participation.
Organized jointly by the Chitwan Automobile Dealers Association and the Chitwan Automobile Association, the event was held at the exhibition center of the Chitwan Chamber of Industries starting from Baisakh 17 and wrapped up after five days. According to the organizers, a total of 321 vehicles were booked and sold during the exhibition. This included 114 motorcycles, 148 cars, and 59 vans. The event attracted more than 12,000 visitors throughout its duration.
Around 30 companies participated in the auto show, showcasing their products through more than 70 stalls featuring cars, jeeps, motorcycles, and scooters. Separate sections were designated for microbuses and vans, while additional stalls were arranged outside the main exhibition hall.

Visitors also benefited from on-the-spot financing and insurance services. Various companies offered special discounts and attractive schemes for vehicle buyers during the event. The closing ceremony was held under the chairmanship of coordinator Rajan Piya, with Dhruba Bahadur Thapa attending as the chief guest.
Additionally, three customers were awarded special prizes through a lucky draw. Overall, the event proved to be a significant platform for boosting automobile trade and increasing consumer interest in the region.
